Hi, I'm Erin

I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) specializing in…

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

My Experience

My journey in the mental health field began over 20 years ago after I earned my Master’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University. I initially worked as a school counselor and later obtained my state licensure, leading me to transition into the clinical counseling sector.

Throughout my career, I have gained experience in both private practice and providing psychological services to children and families in their homes through the Illinois Early Intervention Program.

Through my wide range of experiences, I have gained valuable insight and had the opportunity to walk alongside individuals facing a diverse array of mental health challenges and issues.

My Approach

Currently, I offer counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, employing strength and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

My particular expertise lies in working primarily with adults who are grappling with anxiety, trauma, relational issues, as well as those navigating various life stressors and transitions.

I approach my work with sensitivity, compassion, understanding, and a keen sense of insight. I genuinely listen to my clients’ needs and pay close attention to their hopes and vision for their future.

My aim is to provide practical and solution-focused guidance and support.

My Commitment

I am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment in which my clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to address past or present challenges and stressors.

My holistic approach to therapy draws from various methods, including cognitive-behavioral, somatic, person-centered, Gottman, narrative, acceptance and commitment, and solution-focused modalities, among others.

My commitment is to meet my clients exactly where they are in their journey and assist them in applying the insights and skills they acquire during the therapeutic process, ultimately enabling them to thrive.
